During the Balkan crisis, Switzerland's mercy was expressed in the form of material and moral aid, which it gave to my people in Kosova, who were suffering so much, in their most difficult days.
My thanks to the Swiss people and to Switzerland is a thank you from the bottom of my heart - not only from me as a contributor, but also from all those in need who received help.
I have been living in Switzerland since 1983 and am involved in charitable projects. Swiss people have supported me and helped to help people who have fallen into poverty and need as a result of the Balkan crisis.
It can therefore be said with full justification: Mercy is a quality that is rooted in the soul of man. It requires a strong will and the desire to work where it is possible and necessary. It contributes to peace wherever its fruits reach those in need...
As a servant of mercy, everyone has accepted me as I am; especially the Swiss.
For this I thank the Swiss people and Switzerland with all my heart.
